The timing of the rollout for DLA claimants with indefinite awards is badly in need of clarity. Today's B & W newsletter reads: "The transfer of claimants with indefinite DLA awards is due to begin in October...."

Yes MW,

That has always been the case current DLA recipients with Indefinite or Life awards will be invited to claim PIP "sometime after October 2015"

"due to begin in October" = "sometime after October 2015" :)

Sorry Bro58, but "due to begin in October" and "sometime after October 2015" do not mean the same thing. Hence, the lack of clarity. Anyway, this is DWP-speak, isn't it? When does the rollout commence? 1st of the month or 31st?

MAri

You have all of the information available and that is likely to be available until, at the very least, after the election.

It may start on the 1 October and it may start at some time after this.
