Hi All

Just a quick question to see if anyone can shed any light for me...

Does anyone know if once a home visit has been arranged by ATOS can this ever be cancelled on their part due to reviewing evidence in the meantime (the visit is booked in a few weeks time)

Just wondering as due to the details I have sent over and numerous medical documents, it just seems as if the evidence has been put aside rather than being looked over. Very frustrating to think that all the time filling in the form itself and gathering medical evidence is just sitting on someones desk without being reviewed.

Any help would be much appreciated

If you supply additional evidence which allows the assessor to make a recommendation on your claim based on this new information and what they already have then they will be able to cancel the appointment, however, the new evidence would need to be significant for this to happen.

If you have submitted evidence and that has not resulted in the appointment being cancelled then it is extremely unlikely that it now will be except if there is an administrative problem with it, for example the assessor is not available on the day..
