Hi,
Welcome to Benefits and Work
If your forum name is also your real name, you may wish to change it to maintain some anonymity.
This can be done quite easily by following the instructions on this FAQ :
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
If you are currently in receipt of DLA, and have been invited to claim PIP, you MUST fill in the documents and return them by the deadline date given :
Sending Documents to the DWP.
Failure to do so will mean that your DLA payments cease, and you will then have to make a completely fresh claim for PIP from scratch.
See : PIP Claims Guide. (2nd Link on page)
&
PIP Self Test
PIP and ESA are two totally separate "benefits" with different qualifying criteria.
The Tribunal cannot tell The DWP that they should not assess/reassess you again.
They sometimes give recommendations on when they think an appellant should be re-assessed.
However, this is only a recommendation, and has no legal standing.
Even if it did, the comments were only made with respect to your ESA Award, and not PIP or DLA.
If you wish to clarify your situation further or have any other queries, please reply to this post.
