PIP assessment on a Sunday was created by carmind
A client has been given a PIP home assessment on a Sunday and when he tried to change it was refused.
I have now agreed to alter this appointment but is this now common practice? What's next? Midnight appointments?
The assessor is Capita, operating in Cardiff.

Hi c,
Thanks for the "heads up" !
I cannot recall any member stating that they were having a Capita Home Assessment on a Sunday, but that does not mean that members haven't.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least.
After all they do still have a backlog, and October 2015 is fast approaching when the national roll-out of transfers to PIP for "All" current DLA recipients is "supposed" to begin.
I remember when ATOS were carrying out WCA face to face assessments over the weekend also.
Other members are most welcome to provide feedback if they too have had appointments for Capita Home Assessments over the weekend.

A few years ago Atos tried to ring me on a Saturday, also at 10pm on a weekday! I say tried as I missed both calls, but when I checked the number it was Atos.
