Re supporting letters from Consultants - PIP was created by ESA Headache
I have copies of letters that my GP received from my Consultants confirming my health conditions. I want to attach these to my PIP claim pack and wonder where I should attach them?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi,
If you mean the 'how your illness affects you' form, you can put the supporting documentation wherever it seems to fit best. The important thing is that everything is clearly marked and labelled with your name, DOB and NI number. We also suggest that you number each page '1 of 23' etc.

The letters are from my Consultants stating my medical diagnoses. I wondered where to attach them within the PIP claim pack

Attach them to the back of the form either with a staple or a treasury tag.
It would help you to number each page, for example "page X of Y" to prevent loss.
Also, if you have not already done so, where appropriate refer to the letters in your answers on the PIP form, for example; my walking is limited to x metres as is confirmed in Mr Somebody's letter see page Z of attached pages.

Attach them at the back of the form. You need to ensure that the form can still be opened to any page to allow it to be copied.
