I hope it is alright to join in with this topic. I will at some point after October be applying for PIP and have numerous copies of reports from Consultants to GP's along with other evidence. I had wondered whether it would be in order to use the presentation folders with clear plastic sleeves inside to put the evidence in and number the sleeves that way with a front page showing each piece of evidence against each numbered sleeve. I have quite a bit some old and some up to date. Do you think that would be acceptable or would it make more work for the Assessors to take out to read? I thought it would keep the evidence presentable and in order.
I no doubt will have other questions nearer the time. Thank you for all the help and advise you offer.

Hi f,
I know of a few ESA claimants who did very similar.
They put the pages of The Pdf ESA50 and all extra supporting written A4's and medical documents into hole punched clear pockets. (Back to back 2 to a pocket)
These clear pockets were then put into a file holder to form a fle.
All pages were numbered and referred to by page number within the form itself.
An index of contents was provided at the front of the file that cross referenced to each/ any medical condition/s and resulting disability/limitation.
The DM who made the decision commented on how easy this had made it for them to come to the correct decision/s.
Of course, there is no Pdf of The PIP 2 Form, and you must return the original as the bar code ties it to your PIP claim as an individual claimant.
You could still put the PIP 2 Form at the front of the file after the index in it's own clear pocket.
What you suggest seems very similar.
Of course it is up to the individual how they choose to present their PIP 2 Form and any added evidence.

Hi f,
The clearer that you make it for The DM (Assessor) to see how and why you score the necessary points for the relevant PIP descriptors, the more chance of success.
Besides, if your File/Bundle if really good, you could use it again with additions if needed in case of an adverse decision and any subsequent MR/Appeal.
If they can't be bothered to read your accurately compiled cross referenced file, an Appeals Panel certainly will, and they will appreciate the fact that you have presented your claim/case so well !!!
