i am currently in ESA Support Group after getting 0 points that was changed on reconsideration June 2012.
I filled out another form December 2013 and finally had reassessment medical 26 March this year!
I called DWP Thursday 30th April as still not had decision and was told no decision had yet been reached., However, this morning i received a letter asking me to go for work focused interview next friday. The letter seems to be on standard template, and they have included on page 3 info regarding sanction rules from December 2012. It is on this page it states "at present you are in work related activity group . Do you think this is a mistake? The letter is dated May 01 and as of 30th April a decision hadn't been made! so annoying as cannot contact them until Tuesday Many thanks Kim

Hi k,
You will remain in the Support Group (SG) until a decision is made as a result of your recent reassessment.
So, unless a fresh decision has been made placing you into The WRAG, you do not have to comply with WFI's or WRA.
If a fresh decision has been made placing you into The WRAG, you are legally entitled to a written Decision Notice letter informing you of this.
You need to contact the JC Plus, first thing Tuesday, to ascertain whether or not you have been placed into The WRAG or not.
If you have, where is your Decision Notice ?
If you haven't you don't have to attend.
Quite a lot of our members who are in The SG have been receiving similar letters.
Gordon has written a post summarising information regarding this scenario in :
The Spotlight Area.
As advised, you can challenge them to ascertain exactly "what" the interview is pertaining to, and whether it is Mandatory or Voluntary.
You can then make an informed decision on whether to attend.
Further information can be seen in : This Topic and from the links included therein to other associated topics.
You will see more detail with respect to DWP Decision Makers Guidance and ESA Regulations on not having to take part in WRA/WFI if in The SG, and " Reasonable Adjustments" for disabled people as covered under The Equality Act 2010. (EA2010)
If the JCP Adviser tells you that you have been placed into The WRAG, you could request that they defer your WFI until you have received written notification from The DWP ESA Decision Maker.
You could also re-contact ESA :
THE ESA PHONE NUMBER DWP : 0345 608 8545 Press Option 3 for ESA. (Open 8AM-6PM. Mon-Fri.)
Please return to update us after you have phoned up on Tuesday.
