Disability premiums was created by carmind
Someone has had his DLA payments stopped because he is in hospital. However, DWP have carried on paying his disability premiums.
Is this correct or is it a mistake?

As far as I am aware yes, but it would be worth getting the DWP to confirm that this is the case as the Premiums will be paid on their ESA(IR), IS or JSA(IR) and the DLA Unit may not have contacted the other units about their being in hospital.
DLA payments are stopped once a claimant has been in hospital for 28 days, but they retain their DLA award and payments will restart as soon as they leave hospital.

They still have entitlement to DLA, just not to payment, the Premiums are based on entitlement to the benefit, so should remain in payment, but I would still check with the DWP.
