Hi Guys, New to the forum and recently the dreaded letter arrived telling me I'm being transferred to pip and to complete the form.

Firstly I am a disabled Army Vet of 20 years and was medically discharged with my injuries, I was a couple of years out of being instantly awarded PIp and ESA.

I have therefore had to draw on the help of the RBL in the past to help with the form filling etc and currently in receipt of DLA High Rate Care & mobility, War Pension of 75%, ESA Support Group.

Nevertheless I am terrified of what this government will do next to make my life and all of the other disabled people worse. Why not simply line us all up and shoot us all, it would be far less painful.

Maddymoo

I suspect that the vast majority of DLA claimants feel the same.

You matter, so never doubt your importance to every one of us.

I'm most always waiting for another shoe to drop, but try to focus on my daily life -if I don't, it will go by and I will have missed it. Despite my disability being a constant limitation, there is still joy to be found.

I also dread the envelopes and feel very down when I have to fill in one.
However, I have used the B&W guides for every claim I've ever submitted, and all of my claims have been successful.

Use the guides when you fill in your form, and let us know how you've got on when you receive the decision.... and good luck! We're behind you 100%!
