OMG copy of capita medical report pip
- ken
I see what you are saying.
I guess my problem with ATOS (well one of them) is that their 'opinions' tend to be based on lies, for example you could tell them you have issues due to anxiety/depression actually making a call / deciding to go to the doctors. Once that hurdle is passed (which might mean a big delay in treatment if it takes weeks or months) you can physically walk to the doctors without issue.
However their 'opinion' would be you have no problems going out as you can go to the doctors for example.
Its not a black and white, they are correct and incorrect - you can go, but they failed in their duty to mention the fact that you cannot go 'reliably' or as needed etc.
The amount of times things have been either misquoted by them, or worse they have written something in direct contradiction to what was said is scary.
Im going to have to get a copy of my pip report, as I got 0 points, I expect it to be a tissue of lies, but this time as well as appealing I am going for the doctor or nurse personally - they will have to suffer a gmc or nmwc investigation as well as possible hassle from atos / dwp and if it comes to it the media too.

It might make me worse, but someone has to make a stand, because they are killing far to many people.

kim wrote: Gordon thanks for your reply I will send a short letter detailing the contents of the call and as you said I will also confirm that I will be sending further evidence im not thinking about making a complaint with regards to the capita assessment because this process is taking its toll
so ill just use what energy I have left to gather the extra evidence needed for the MR because at this moment in time I just feel like giving up
Don't forget that you have 1 month to request the MR, you can afford a day or two to gather your strength, the things that you are having to do are not easy and there will still be the stress of waiting for the result, be kind to yourself.
