However he has been sent another DLA claim form which is like a new claim pack. Is this correct, can you please answer this as a matter of urgency as time is running out before his DLA claim ends. Thank you
Hi M,
Welcome to Benefits and Work

Posting duplicate posts will not speed up our response, as posts sit in a pre-moderation are before being approved and responded to by a Mod.
If your Son has received a DLA Renewal pack rather than an invitation to claim PIP, then that is what he should fill in and return by any deadline.
There is a guide on DLA Renewals under the heading "DLA Changes and Renewals" on : This Page.
You can also refer to The DLA Claims Guides on the same page nearer the top.
You should treat the Renewal just as you would with a fresh DLA claim, and go into detail of how and why he should continue to receive the appropriate DLA Award.

You should ensure that the Renewal is posted to arrive back in good time, and it would be advisable to post it recorded, signed for :
Sending Documents to the DWP.
Once you have checked on line (Track & Trace) that the Renewal Pack has been received by DLA, you should ring them to confirm that they have it.
Please reply to this topic if you have any further queries.
