hello, sorry to hear about the results of your tribunal, I have anger issues so im worried if I encounter one of these nasty people they may be in for a shock. plus my sister works for the nhs and has tried everything to get me out the house. im at my lowest point in a very complex case, I wish I was the type of person that didn't try id be on top benefits.

I would go the full distance as you are helping other disabled people as well and adding to the statistics that the dwp/ cons gov grasp too like straws. And will hasten the witch-hunt currently being undertaken by them, I hope Ian Duncan Smith is really pleased with himself....

good luck

Hi

I too experienced a tribunal like yours. I am currently waiting for the SoR before considering my next move but have also sent a complaint about the Tribunal panel. As has been said, it is like they are trying people for the crime of being disabled and they should not be allowed to get away with it.

Good luck for the future.

Hi everyone sorry this has taken so long to reply I've been fairly busy by my standards any way.
I've been slowly getting back to work doing really sorry hours but it's taken its toll.

Any Way a little update on what had been said in the paper work I requested from the tribunal service.

in the tribunal I was told to only talk about the period of time that was in dispute and not how I was feeling at the time. This is contradicted by the fact that when they are talking about my illness they reference what I was like during the tribunal.
I would have thought this was not the best way to go about it because they use the fact I was coherent on the day as a way of saying that it's reasonable to think that is what I was like during the medical assessment.

They also say that they acknowledge that I have a variable condition and if the level of functioning that I state was true then some specialist intervention would have been needed. There is no specialist for my condition and the specialist intervention that I received was at the ME/CFS clinic I attended.

My occupational therapist stated all my cognitive issues and my struggle to get around and the post exertion malaise that I suffer from.
They say this isn't relevant because no specifics where given.

I've given up hope of any financial help now because of my condition is not well studied I feel they can twist the truth around.
I'm getting better and I'm grateful of that so that's the positive I have to focus on.
I have got a disabled person bus pass and this helps a lot so it's small victories that I focus on.
