Hi u,

I have merged your post with your previous topic for continuity.

I am sorry to hear that you were not awarded any points in your PIP Assessment.

You certainly have nothing to lose in challenging this decision.

To do so you must make a formal request in writing for a Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) of the decision to arrive back at DWP PIP within one month of the date of your decision notice letter.

Sending Documents to the DWP.

You could also ring the PIP Helpline and request a copy of the PIP Assessor's Medical Report :

Telephone: 0345 850 3322

Textphone: 0345 601 6677

Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm

You could back the verbal request up in writing.

Do not miss your one month deadline if copy of the report has not arrived.

You should concentrate on reiterating how and why you should have received the correct number of points for the PIP Descriptors that apply to your limitations.

Have a read through the following, then post any other queries that you might have by replying to this topic :

Guide to PIP MR/Appeals.

&

Disability Rights UK Factsheet - Appeals and Mandatory Reconsiderations.

If you haven't already done so, you could take our : PIP Self Test which may give you a better idea where you should be able to pick points up.

You could also review our : PIP Claims Guide. (2nd Link on page)
