PIP Assesement on 29/06/15 was created by Rosemary Sparks
Hi I am due to have my assessment on 29/06, I am really worried, not only do I have to travel from Chatham to Woolwich, which will be a nightmare in rush hour traffic, I am in a wheelchair and suffer with incontinence and am in constant pain, I have fibromyalgia, Degenerative spondylolisthesis, slipped discs, diabetes, emphysema, vestibular migraines.
Can I ask for somewhere closer to home. and is it worth sending in recent additional information from occupational health who have provided additional aids and done a full report on my condition.

Hi,

Welcome to Benefits and Work :)

If your forum name is also your real name, you may wish to change it to maintain some anonymity.

This can be done quite easily by following the instructions on this FAQ :

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

You are not alone, this type of thing has happened to many PIP claimants.

You can challenge them regarding the location of the assessment, and/or request a Home Assessment if you can get your G.P. to Fax them a letter supporting this.
