hi again
sorry if I gave wrong impression
I have a current dla award until july 2016 have had dla since 2012
I have a current iidb award until april 2016 have had iidb since 2011
I was asking if these would be any good to send as as evidence as well as me writing and explaining about fitting the esa descriptors for the MR
I am reading all the info sorry if posting too many questions
thanks helen

It's not really the fact that you have on-going awards that matters, but when you were last assessed for those awards.
You are being assessed for ESA on what your limitations are today not how you were in the past, this does not mean that you cannot use old medical evidence or current awards to support your claim, but you must show that the information used for those awards is still valid today and that it is relevant to your ESA claim.
Using a deliberately stupid example, perhaps your DLA was awarded because you cannot cook, this would not be of direct use to your ESA claim as ESA does not test this.
A slightly more sensible example might that your IIDB was awarded because you have problems walking and these problems are not expected to improve, this would be relevant to ESA as the ESA Mobility test looks at this (in part) and although the IIDB information is old, it confirms that the condition is not likely to improve and therefor that it would still be applicable.
I hope that this explains it better.
