I was receiving DLA for my son , I was receiving middle rate care and lower rate mobility , now pip say I'm not entitled to a penny , I have asked for a reconsideration and was turned down again so I'm going for a tribunal , my son has right foot deformity with equines and pes caves and mild motor neurone signs , he can't walk very far at all , needs help with showering , cooking and toilet vists , he does walk with crutch but no more than 50 meters , I have to take care of his drugs as he will grab hand full of pain killers if pain is really bad , can't go up and stairs without help , can't use public transport coa can't walk on uneven surfaces
I would then have a look at our PIP Claim guide to get a better understanding of the criteria against which your son has been assessed, in particular have a look at the section that explains the use of the word "reliably", activities must be done reliably for the majority of days.
