i have received a letter to attend a W C A. on the 6 July ,my last esa 50 was 2 years ago
is this correct or do i need to ask for a new form thanks

Hi m,

This has been happening to a number of our members.

They have sent in an ESA50 a year or more ago, heard no more, then received a letter out of the blue from Maximus (CHDA) informing them of an appointment for a face to face without being given the opportunity to fill in a current ESA50.

You can challenge this !!

You should contact : The Centre for Health and Disability Assessments (CHDA) (Maximus) who took over the ESA WCA Contract from ATOS on 02/03/15.

Thank you for your reply, i will contact them tomorrow about this will keep you updated

well yesterday 2 hours before assessment , phone call to say they have to cancel due to running late , but when i phone this morning , to re appointment was told there was no doctor to assess me ,so have to wait now for new assessment date , shall i fill in new ESA 50 ,as DWP have sent me one due to my ringing them, thanks

Hi just received letter re wca thank you for all your help put in support group again , i must admit i was dreading the assessment but although it was 1.30 hours long the HCP was really nice and patient and put me at ease so much better than Atos hcp's , lets hope other people have the same experience i did, what does it mean if there is no date for another assesssment ?
