Hi
I have just filled out my pip form ( DLA to PIP ) and its ready to go. I used the guide before the July 6th update.
Is there anything else I should know that will affect my claim. I will be sending further evidence off next week.

Hi P,

If you have finished your PIP 2 Form, you could read through it and ask a relative/friend/carer to read through it to see if it can be "tweaked" in any respect.

Once you are happy that it is as good as it can be, you should make a photocopy of it and any other evidence that you are sending.

You should then have proof of posting and be able to check that it was delivered on-line.

A few days after delivery, I would give them a ring to confirm that they have it.

If you are going to send in further evidence next week, I would keep a note of the return address that you are sending your PIP Form to, and use the same address for your evidence next week.

You could also put a note in with The PIP Form stating that you will be forwarding further evidence to them next week, and then when you post the other evidence put in a covering letter with that explaining that you wish the evidence to be taken into account along with the Pip Form.
