PIP over 65 was created by ESA Headache
I currently receive the standard rate of Dally Living PIP, scored 11 points but only 4 on mobility. Only just received the decision and am going to accept the DWP decision on points etc.

By the time of my review date I will be over 65, am I correct in thinking that because I am not entitled to the mobility component now that even if I would be entitled to it at my next review given the current points system that because I would be 65 I would not be entitled to the mobility component of PIP

I am afraid so, but It's a bit more complicated;

- first the age limitation is 65 or Pensionable Age (PA), whichever is the higher, although this won't be relevant until 2018.

- if you have no mobility award then you cannot be awarded one after you pass the applicable age.

- If you have a Standard Mobility Award then you can continue to receive it as long as the reasons for you doing so are substantially the same as they were when the award was made. You cannot be awarded an Enhanced Mobility award on review

- If you have a Enhanced Mobility Award then you can continue to receive it as long as the reasons for you doing so are substantially the same as they were when the award was made.
