PIP assessment was created by carmind
In a PIP consultation report form (PA4 V3) the assessor several times refers to the client's "MSE". What's this?

The "MS" is musculoskeletal system, the "E" is probably examination depending on the context, its used when talking about the claimants ability to move, walk, reach, etc.

Once again, thank you Gordon.
Strange they used this for an assessment for a person who only has mental health issues!! Especially when no physical examination was carried out!
Silly me, not strange at all!!

The assessors for ESA and PIP follow a standard script during an assessment and will check all aspects of the claimants health, although some areas, hopefully in line with the claimants problems, will be looked at in more detail.

Hi Carmind
MSE stands for Mental State Examination.
A musculoskeletal test is an MSO.
