Hello again
Are home visit just given ? My husband filled his pip form and was automatically given a hv ..... At the assessment the assessor saw him rise from the bed and walk about one mt, but has said he can walk 50-200 mt he's in constant pain as his toes have curled up due to arthritis he's also waiting for an operation to take the joints out and fuse his toes so he can wear shoes and reduce some pain. He also has extensive arthritis through out his body
He's been awarded the high care with points for needing assistance to dress and wash etc and only two for medication as he uses an aid due to his hands but he has lotions he needs to put all over his body ....it's impossible for him to do it's like trying to put sun cream on yourself it impossible ........so how can I word this in a mandatory review x

It helps the Mods if you keep all of your posts in one topic so we can see your other questions :)

The assessor is stating an opinion which can be difficult to argue against, you need to show that their extrapolation of the distance he can walk is not consistent with the evidence that you have submitted and that they have ignored the legal requirement for him to be able to walk the distance reliably and for the majority of the days.

If you have a look at the PIP Claim guide, both of the concepts are discussed in more detail, you might also want to have a look at the PIP Appeal guide that explains the MR process.
