Hi m,

Welcome to Benefits and Work :)

I have given your post its own topic as tagging on to other member's topics can confuse things and is not really fair to the OP of that topic.

If you have any evidence that you did not send with your PIP 2 Form, you could forward copy of it to ATOS or Capita now, before the PIP face to face takes place.

ATOS/PIP.

Contact Capita.

You could contact them for the appropriate postal address, or scan it and attach to an e-mail.

Sending Documents to the DWP, ATOS, Capita or Maximus.

As a back up, you could also take copy of the evidence to your PIP face to face and hand it to the Assessor before the start of the assessment.

If you want to be extra cautious, you could also post copy FAO : The PIP Case Manager at the address of The Benefits Office/Centre on your most recent DWP PIP letter.

This would ensure that The DWP Case Manager is privy to "all" of your evidence when they are making the final decision.

You can read what to expect at your PIP face to face from Page 70 onwards of our : PIP Claims Guide. (2nd Link on page)

You should be aware that how you manage the return trip to/from the PIP Assessment Centre will be taken into account as part of the actual assessment.

You may be observed on approaching, leaving and whilst inside the centre.

Assumptions may be made by the assessor with regards to the above.

These assumptions could result in the assessor writing comments/recommendations within the PIP PA4 Medical Report which they compile and send to The DWP.

If this is classed as your second face to face appointment, you should be aware that failure to attend without "Good Cause" may result in your PIP Claim being disqualified.

Please keep us updated and good luck !! :)

Hi the face to face was with capita, the woman was very nice the trauma i went through was how the interview was conducted and the lack of disability help around me. i came in a taxi and returned in a taxi . my jaw is all swollen again and i was in so much pain i could not get out of the bed till 12.30 pm today. i sent every medical record in from 2008 up ontil now, that proves every illness i have , and a doctors not to tell them how my illness effects me. my daughter had to help me in and out and all through the interview.
