Taxable Benefits was created by mumsgirl
Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone can help me please? I am trying to fill in a form for my son's EMA (Scotland). Are DLA, ESA, Child Benefit and Child Tax Credit taxable benefits?

Are all these benefits taken into consideration when deciding if he is entitled to EMA or not (I realise you may not be able to answer that) ?

thank you in advance.

Hi mg,

EMA is not something that we deal with, as you surmised !! :)

However, the following may help regarding "Benefits" that count as "Taxable Income" :

Here and Here.

You can find further information regarding EMA Scotland : Here.

Cheers

So, DLA, Income Related (IR) ESA, Child Tax Credits and Child Benefit (unless someone in your household has taxable income of over £50,000/Annum) are not classed as "Taxable Income" !! :)
