Can my husband claim carers all W/O my losing DLA?

I havehad higher rate Care DLA since 2003 whuch enabled me to receive IB in 2005 despite an occupational pension. When I was migrated to ESA I was 'grandfathered' on into Support Grp because of my IB in a similar way to my getting IB because I had higher rate care.
Is my husband able to claim carers allowance without it impacting on my DLA and Support Group ESA? I don't want this impacting on me because I need the grandfathering to remain in place? I'm awaiting a PIP form (and sorry too, that his claim may have accelerated it) and due another ESA reassessment in 2016.
Do you know if he can claim without it impacting my benefits. The loss of my entitlement to either DLA Care or Support Grp ESA would be far greater than his pulling out to protect my benefits?

Providing your husband is able to provide the 35 hours of care required and he does not earn more than the allowable amount (I think it is currently £102/week) then he can claim Carers Allowance for your, his doing so will not have any negative impact on your DLA or ESA nor should it in itself trigger a re-assessment of your claim,

You might want to check one of the benefit calculators as it is possible that you are entitled to an Income Related ESA top-up to your current ESA(CB) which would allow payment of the Carers Premium.
