ESA - daughter was created by hicky1
I've made a claim over the phone for ESA today for my daughter who is 18 and has cerebral palsy

Phoned my GP for fit note and told to collect monday so i will get it posted on monday

I've started putting together all the medical reports off her consultants and physios ready to show evidence of her disability plus she is due to see her consultant neurologist end of september so will get an up to date report.

am i right in thinking that during the assessment phase the enhanced premium will be added worth around £15 due to my daughter receiving PIP enhanced for both parts as the chap who handled the claim had no clue of rates.

can i start to fill in the questionnaire online or will it have to be the version they send?

is there anything else i need to be doing?

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Yes, she should receive the Enhanced Disability Premium, aka Disability Income Guarantee, while receiving the Assessment rate as a result of her PIP Enhanced Daily Living award.

There is a downloadable version of the ESA50 which you can start completing now.

Using The PDF Version Of The ESA50 Questionnaire

Please have a look at our ESA Claim guides for the actual criteria that she will be assessed against.
