supplying medical evidence. was created by magpiejoe08
:( hello. I am expecting word anytime now from dwp regarding a( pip medical) I still receive the old dla, (mobility award) I have been in receipt of esa support group (after tribunal appeal) since 2012/13, so I am expecting word for that also, (under maximus this time) I went for an mri scan earlier this year which shows a deterioration in my condition. should I send this evidence with my claim form or should I take it with me on the day? I have not heard anything from dwp regarding any of these medicals but feel they are way overdue. thank you magpiejoe08

Hi mj,

I suggest you send copies of these with your claim forms.

Even though the switch of people with indefinite DLA awards to PIP has started, we expect the process to take several years (at least!) so you could have a while longer to wait.

As for ESA, reassessments were suspended due to huge backlogs. If you wish, you can find out when you might expect this by contacting DWP and ask for the 'prognosis'

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
