hi, my husband has just been awarded carers allowance and its says if either of us goes abroad we must inform the DWP . Does anyone know if we go together will we loss our money and have to apply again?

Hi Molly,

Claimants are supposed to notify DWP if they intend to leave the country. As long as you will not be away for more than 13 weeks you will not lose your entitlement to DLA/PIP or carers allowance
