I had to re-arrange my medical for a later date because I was too ill to attend.
I am due major surgery in 2 weeks and my medical is next week.
I cannot get out of bed at present .
Should I cancel the medical again? my dr said she would tell them about the situation if they call her, or should I attempt to go in my wheelchair ?
If I cancel again will my dla be stopped?
After the op I will be unable to leave the house for around 3 months.

Normally two missed appointments mean your claim is ended.
They will not ring your doctor.
You could try getting a letter from her detailing your problems and requesting a home assessment and send this in. It might be best to ring first and explain and tell them you are getting the letter. GPs must understand they will not be rung or contacted by DWP. They have to contact the DWP proactively.
Still the best thing is to attend. If you are ill that only strengthens your case.

Just an update.
I managed to get to the oil assessment.
There was no signs and it was very very difficult to find. Almost like some sort of test?!
If I didn't have a driver ineould not have found it.
Anyway the examiner was very nice.
She asked lots of questions..
Then she skipped the physical examination as I was too ill.
Then I went home.
Does anyone know .. Will her skipping the physical examination go against me when deciding my award?

Hi Ffq,
No, it should not go against you !
Even when the assessors do carry out physical examinations they are very basic.
They obviously felt that they had enough information to complete the assessment and compile a PA4 Medical Report which will now be sent to The DWP.
You could give it week or so then ring the PIP Helpline for an update.
Whilst on the phone you could request a copy of the PA4.
