PIP Result

Just a quick post to thank everyone at B&W for your fantastic guides and help.

I had been on DLA, but that claim ended in May and the DWP claimed not to have received my renewal application, so was forced to apply for PIP in July.

Had a home assessment 17 days ago. The HP said it would take 4-6 weeks for a decision from the DWP, but I received the dreaded brown envelope this morning and, after overcoming some hesitation and anxiety, I finally opened it to discover that I've been awarded the enhanced rate for daily living and mobility, from July 2015 to April 2018.

Couldn't have got to this point without the information and advice this site provides. So, thanks again.

Good news just started my process today hope I don't loose my Dla have heard so much about people not getting Pip after receiving Dla .

Unfortunately, despite claims to the contrary, the whole point of PIP is to reduce the number of benefit recipients.
Hopefully you will get your award.
