MOVING?

I am moving home and need to inform powers that be!
Do i phone ESA and PIP, and/or send letters to Wolverhampton mail site for both as that is whats at the top of award letters not a benefits office?
Do i have to tell ATOS ive moved?
One further question my PIP award starts around the date of moving; will this cause an issue?
Thanks for any response in advance.

You need to inform in writing any department from which you are receiving a benefit, this means that you need to inform both ESA and PIP using the address on any letter relevant to each benefit, this will likely be the Wolverhampton mail drop site, but the full address will result in your letter being sent to the correct department.
Moving should have no impact on your PIP, unless you are also changing your back, where you will need to inform them of the new details.

Hi ms,
You can ring both to inform them of your new address after you have moved if you wish.
I would however back the phone calls up with letters to cover yourself ! (We know what The DWP are like)
Sending Documents to the DWP.
You should address the letters to the address that you have on your most recent ESA and PIP letters.
No, you would only have to inform ATOS if you were currently "in" the assessment process.
Once DWP are aware of your new address, they will obviously pass this on to ATOS or Maximus for ESA when the time comes to reassess you.
It "shouldn't do", as your payments go direct into your bank account, which I gather that you are not changing.
You may be best advised to wait until your first PIP payments are made, and then inform them, again, we know what DWP can be like !

I'll leave that decision up to you !
