I'm seeing elsewhere about procedure of resending SAR (can't possibly get all the info together again as well, and they have it, proven) and to say will report to ICO if not respond to SAR within further 2 weeks, so will do that when I can.

Thank you RH, and glad yours arrived, and along with an apology. Did you have to write to remind them and threaten a complaint? Just wanted it to arrive; so stressful waiting about this and the M.R. response.

Thanks again Rh. I'll see if it turns up over the next few days, but might send a letter when I can get out, otherwise. Hope you won your appeal.

You need to speak to the Data protection officer at DWP. I found them helpful in fact they rang me to check I'd put the right stuff I wanted as had made a mistake and only mentored incapacity benefit. They wanted to check I didn't want the rest as well. It was send out in special delivery envelopes, one for each benefit. I can't remember the number sorry.

Thanks Orangeblossom. I'm not managing to find contact details, but it's refreshing to hear about the dwp being nice, definitely! Gives me hope. Will most likely write to them again soon, and just mark the envelope FAO data protection officer.
