ESA report question was created by little effie
Hi again

As I previously posted I only just received my esa medical report which put me straight in support group. Having looked at it again while reading through pip evidence copies I realized there aren't any mention of points scored. Is this normal as I seem to read many posts on here with folk stating points for this or scored points enough for whichever group but no mention of points on mine just a one page a4 report stating meets support group criteria and won't change long term due to severe functional disabilities from multiple conditions.
If you could let me know if this is usual or not as confused and dwp advisor couldn't let me know
Thanks Effie

Hi E,

That's because qualifying for The WRAG is points based, in that you have to score the requisite minimum 15 points cumulatively across : The Functional WRAG (LCW)Schedule 2 Descriptors or if you can't score 15 points, via : ESA Reg 29 for entry to The WRAG (LCW)

PLUS Post 28/01/13 Amendment of :

(3) Paragraph (2)(b) does not apply where the risk could be reduced by a significant amount by—

(a)reasonable adjustments being made in the claimant’s workplace;

or

(b)the claimant taking medication to manage the claimant’s condition where such medication has been prescribed for the claimant by a registered medical practitioner treating the claimant.”.

From : www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2012/3096/regulation/3/made

Qualification for The SG is not points based, you have to fulfil at least one of : The Functional SG (LCWRA) Schedule 3 Descriptors or, if you can't fulfil any one of those, via : ESA Reg 35 for entry to The SG (LCWRA)

As you will see, some but not all of the Schedule 2 WRAG Descriptors that score the maximum points correspond to some of The Schedule 3 SG Descriptors.

If you wish, you could issue a SAR, and ask the particular question as mentioned in : This Post

Thanks bro

My latest meds are making me so erm thick and muddled and pip assessment stress plus the latest results looking like cancer may have returned are just making everything as clear as mud.
Sorry to use up your time when I could have looked through the rest of site and found the answers just being silly.
