dla to pip

hi, i am currently on the higher rate of the care component of dla this is due to end at the end of december 2015. in the meantime i have gone through the pip process, having had my face to face assessment a couple of weeks ago. how will my claim proceed if i have not had a decision from pip and my dla award has reached its finish date, i think it was awarded for two years initially. as far as i am aware the dla have stopped doing any sort of assessments by simply moving people over to pip, you can see my predicament my award will end possibly before my pip decision is in place and i am already in the pip "system" even though i still receive dla

Hi h,

As you are transferring to PIP, your current DLA payments will continue until 4 weeks after the date of the PIP decision, whatever that PIP decision may be.
