I wonder if anyone has any advice ....I got a letter this morning to say someone from Capita will be coming to see me at 9.30 tomorrow at my home ....yikes they have not give me much time , has anyone else had a home visit how did it go and what do I need to watch for ...I sure am nervous , I am on top mobility medium care on DLA XXX

There is a section at the back of the PIP Claim that covers the assessment process and the questions that are likely to be asked.

You can have someone with you during the interview and I would encourage you to do so if possible.
You can choose the room that you will be assessed in and there should be no reason for the assessor to look anywhere else in you house.
They ask to do a basic physical examination but it is unlikely to be more than looking at the movement in your legs and arms and possibly to walk a short distance, you are entitled to refuse if doing so would cause you pain or harm, but if you do then you must explain your reasons for doing so.
