Hi S,

Trying to respond to your two posts above !

You were originally assessed in 2012 which resulted in a WRAG award !

You then requested a reconsideration of that decision and were placed into the SG with an 18 months prognosis.

18 months later you received an ESA50, when your SG award was reassessed on your paper evidence alone and you were kept in the SG.

You were told that the recommended date for your next reassessment would be December 2016.

So, the December 2016 date is the date that I would expect you to receive your next ESA50 for reassessment of your current SG award.

The WCA (Works Capability Assessment) is the whole process of being assessed/reassessed to see whether you qualify for ESA in either group.

The face to face assessment is "part" of the WCA, it is not a definite that a face to face has to take place within a WCA !

Reassessment were only being deferred to a later date at around the time that the original reassessment date came up.

Not that it matters, but from what you have written, your reassessment did not need deferring due to the date that it fell on.

I cannot really offer any further enlightenment on this for you.

There have been some changes to The ESA50 over the years, the latest version was updated in 04/15 (April 2015) and can be downloaded from the link on this FAQ :

Using The PDF Version Of The ESA50 Questionnaire

Our ESA Claims guides will always be updated and current to reflect any changes to The ESA50 and/or ESA Legislation, so you should always refer to them, 2nd & 3rd links down this page :

When the time comes to fill in your next ESA50.

Thanks so much bro58. I really appreciate the info.
I get a really foggy brain and anxiety compounds the problem (so I sometimes read something and it just refuses to go in or make sense - even when clearly written). I think I get it now, thank you for all you do.

hi Shell
just to say that there are loads of us out here with tons of empathy for you.
I suspect that most of us are in a state and waiting for the "brownie" to fall any day............................the anxiety and the government, well, it's a shame we can't all club together financially and find a flaw in the law and sue the government....................I wish the UN would hurry up with their investigations................any news on that anyone?

Don't expect the UN to cnclude anything that can be used to our advantage in fighting the government for implementing this regime upon us.
