I have been coming and going on here last few days having been refuse PIP (Got 7 points and sent letter today requesting MR.) and I have realised that, although the decision maker is guilty of overlooking some key areas of my claim, he/she may not be entirely at fault for the result I had.

I realised after I had carefully laid out my 3 page MR letter, I had made a better job at explaining myself in terms of relating my condition to the correct activities and descriptors and being more clear about how I felt my condition matched certain points awarded. I think in doing so the decision maker should have a clearer view of my claim. For example, in terms of 'Managing Treatments', I forgot to mention in my PIP2 that when I am supervised and monitored it is for a period of over 14 hours a week. On reflection leaving out the amount of 'time' I need supervision probably cost me 6 points.

It's all a learning curve.
