Hello Back again as there is lots of differing information on this because students at college and students at uni differ between being a dependant and a non dependant !
I receive enhanced daily pip and enhanced mobility. My 18 year old is at college full time 'not uni'. As she's not at uni and I don't receive carers does this not mean I'm entitled to severe disability premium? Because she's at college full time I still receive child benefit and child tax for her still Who can I contact to her a clear answer? I don't have a partner. The girl at sea esa very confused. Thanks
It can be difficult to get clear answers even from the DWP. It sounds like you are entitled. You could try your CAB. You could write to the DWP and say you want to claim the SDP. Copy the rules into the letter and show you meet them. Send the letter registered so they have to sign for it. They have to respond. If they don't contact your MP. F they say you are not entitled appeal.
