MR letter was created by Johnny
Hi
I just realised I didn't actually use the term 'Mandatory Reconsideration', in sending my PIP MR letter to DWP, I just mentioned in detail that there were discrepancies in DWP decision so I assume common sense will prevail and they understand the purpose of my letter.

Hi J,
Hopefully common sense will prevail and they will see that you are challenging the adverse PIP decision.
You could of course ring the PIP Helpline to check that your request for an MR has been received and registered.

Yes, bro58
I had called them the moment I received the original decision and told them I was challenging it, then they proposed I wait for a decision maker to call me, but I told them I'd send a response in writing instead and called back last week and was told by help line that DWP had received my posted letter, (Only after a few minutes panic due to the lady on the help line not being able to confirm if the envelope they'd received did in fact contain my letter.)
