Hi my wife has been awarded the enhanced rate of care & enhanced mobility (pip ) unfortunately she is in hospital so I believe the care is suspended till she comes out of hospital does the mobility get suspended as well because she wants to get a car on mobility ? I've spoken to Motability and told them my wife does not drive so I will be her driver and they said they think it should be ok ? Can anybody let me know for sure please...Iwe have got the pip letter confirming her award but another letter followed asking how long has she been in hospital...many thanx Ian.

I'm afraid that the Mobility component will also be suspended.

Any suspension will only occur after your wife has been in hospital for more then 28 days.
