Process after ESA appeal win was created by tedthered64
Hi all,

I was wondering what happens after winning ESA appeal and being placed in the support group.

Do I still need to send in fit notes whilst awaiting confirmation iof appeal result from DWP?

Will the payment rate stay at assessment amount until the DWP contact me?

I gave read that it can take the DWP up to 8 weeks after the tribunal date to update records, is this true?

Regards

Ted

Hi

Congratulations on winning your entitlement.
It can take a little while for the DWP to process your case. Some say its petty bad loser syndrome but it could be plain incompetence :)

You don't need to get fit notes any more. You should be paid as normal until you get the award notice and back pay.

23 Dec - Paid JSA 7th Dec to 15th Dec.
29 Dec - Paid ESA back pay 4 Aug to 15 Dec.
