Can someone give me more information about what you shouldn't be saying about help with activities, even if you use aids and appliances. The DWP’s plan to reduce or abolish payments of the daily living component for claimants who qualify solely based on the use of aids could potentially affect people making PIP claims now,
The issue boils down to whether you can complete the PIP activities without the use of aids, with the use of aids or unable to complete them even with the use of aids. Activities must be completed reliably and on the majority of days not to score points.
So as example; if you cannot reliably prepare and cook a simple meal even with the use of aids on the majority of days, then you need to explain why this is. What aids you use and why they are ineffective and what problems you have despite these aids that prevent you completing the activity.
