hi everyone please can you advise me? my daughter is considering moving into a house share where she will pay a 1/3 of the bills. She is in receipt of ESA [support group] and High rate mobility, middle rate Care for DLA .
My question is, can she apply for rent/council tax rebate? she also has 7hrs personal support a week paid for. Plus parental support 24/7 .[we are aware she will need more support when house sharing ]
thank you for the brilliant work you all do, best money I've ever spent for support and guidance! :

I'm sorry but we don't deal with Housing Benefit on the forum, she needs to contact the Local Authority for the area that she is moving to.
As a general rule if her only income is ESA and DLA (the personal support should not be counted) then I would expect her to qualify.
