I made a phone call to pip 2 days ago to say I disagreed with some the points they scored my son.i was told I would have a phone call within 5 days,that phone call was today he asked me what I thought was wrong so we went through the things that were not correct at he end I said did I need to put it all in writing and he said no it would be reconsidered on the conversation we just had as he had wrote it all down,he already indicated that one of the activities should have been awarded higher points.So is this normally the case or do must people do it in writing.

It's now quite unusual for a Decision Maker to contact the claimant for PIP, so there mut have been some doubt in their minds about the award.
AS you have had a phone back I don't think there is any need for you to put things in writing until you find out what, if any, the new Decision is. We recommend that claimants make a written request rather than a telephone one, because these can sometimes be lost in the system.

Hi
He rang today and I was busy so he rang back at 3 gave me his name,asked me what I thought was wrong,agreed that the report from the dm was very poor only 2 sentences,agreed that a 15 mins assesment was poor,and a 45 minute wait.for someone who is agoraphobic.he basically said that 2 of the activities should have been awarded more points.
And the mobility only scored 4 but as my son never leaves the house alone ever and never on public transport so hopefully we might get the enhanced.
