Hi, does anyone know was the time limit is on submitting medical evidence for PIP. Ive been advised to send the form in asap- but cant find information on deadline for PIP evidence submission? thanks
I believe that when you send in the PIP form you are meant to send any supportive evidence at the same time, so that the decision maker is in possession of all the relevant facts before he makes his decision.
If you find you cant gather together all the evidence in time, you could inform the decision maker when you send the form in, explaining why you haven't sent everything you need to send and asking whether he will consider the information when, in fact, you are able to send it, giving a time limit if you are able. You could also telephone the DWP and explain your problem, in this way you are covering yourself twice, as it were.
