Universal credit was created by brad72
Please could you enlighten me on which guides to read up on for epilepsy only can't seem to find which ones apply, many thanks. Also could you tell me if I would be classed as a new claimant for universal credit as I'm on Sda and income support and single, as I am led to believe I fall into the catorgarry to be transferred to uc. Sorry for going on only new on here, many thanks.

Hi b72,
You do not currently meet the Gateway Conditions to make a claim or to transfer to UC !!
So, in the mid to long term, I would not worry about UC !!
I see that you are currently in receipt of SDA and IS and that you asked a similar question Here. and Here
You will continue to receive your current level of SDA and IS until you are transferred over to ESA.
This will continue until you have actually been assessed for ESA and received a decision.
You will first receive a letter, then an ESA50 Questionnaire to fill in and return.
The ESA50 and any other evidence will be used to assess you for ESA.
You could start filling in a PDF ESA50 now, then update it when you receive the paper one through the post !
Using The PDF Version Of The ESA50 Questionnaire
Whilst referring to the guides on this page, 2nd & 3rd links down :

As a totally separate issue, as they are two totally separate "Benefits", if you are also in receipt of a DLA award, you will be invited to claim PIP at sometime over the next 2-3 years.
