Re time table for PIP rollout withdrawn was created by John Raymond
The current Government timetable for PIP rollout has now been withdrawn.
Anyone like to speculate /know why this has happened. ?
It is vital to all recipients of DLA ,particularly those on indefinite awards to have some idea of when they will be invited to reapply.
In my view ,the fact that there are still huge backlogs delays, and serious administrative problems with ATOS ,and CAPITA means that the 2017/18 time frame for completion of PIP rollout just not possible. Already the government /DWP have admitted that the process is likely to take until the end of 2019.
I have calculated that even if the DWP,/ATOS /CAPITA were to process their target of 1800 claimants per day it would still take over seven years to complete! !!
Truth is 1800 a day is pure fantasy and now both ATOS and CAPITA are struggling to hire more staff.
As Kate Green MP calculated in 2013 /2014 it would take 40 years to implement PIP fully.
The way things now are although 40 years is perhaps a little OUT the rollout of PIP fully is going to take years. Maybe over ten years. With huge and rising costs of implementing PIP the government may yet be forced to halt the process to get the backlog cleared first, a backlog which in itself may take several years to clear.
So your thoughtson the current situation and withdrawal of the above timetable document by thecDWP appreciated.

JR,

As we have informed you time and time again, where you have posed the same queries repeatedly, this is not a Discussion Forum !!

As seen in your previous posts : Here.

Further, personally I have found your tone quite abrupt in the past !!

Particularly in : This Post

Where you stated that you were going to issue an FOI request !!

What I or the other Mods "think" is irrelevant, we are here voluntarily to help and advise regarding member's PIP/ESA Claims queries, not generic queries where what we think is not of any substantive help to anyone !!

You can find our in-site information on PIP : Here.

See also : This Post. in The Spotlight Area above the Forum !!

How The PIP Points Scoring System Works.

&

PIP Self Test

If you carry on posting the same query, I will simply delete it next time !!

As we have previously advised, if you have a particular query regarding your transfer from DLA to PIP where we can give a definitive response, please feel free to post it.

I think that we are all aware that the timetable to transfer all DLA recipients over to PIP is ambitious to say the least, just as the IB, IS and SDA transfer to ESA timetable has proven to be !

There is no more to say really !!!

I am locking this topic (again) to stop it developing into a discussion !!
