ESA AND GETTING BETTER

Hi,
Daughter has just applied foe ESA, what happens if she fingers crossed gets well before the assessment? Do we just cancel the claim? Will shenhas tomoay the monkey back?

Hi Lorraine,

If your daughter were to get better, such that she no longer qualified for ESA, before assessment then all she would have to do is cancel the claim. There would be no question of having to pa back anything.

If she were to improve after being awarded main phase ESA she would be obliged to contact DWP and tell them.
