PIP Medical today!

Hi there!

I had my PIP medical today, I took my son with me so I remained calm. It went well, they examiner was male and very friendly, he saw the pain I was in so he passed me on the physical exam. My health issues go back 30 years or so we will see what the outcome may be. I have the ESA medical tomorrow and I will keep you updated.

Thanks Shelam, it was very quick today at the ESA assessment as she could see I was in pain and getting distressed. Strange though as she was mostly talking about the IBS and not my chronic back pain etc. I told her about the mental health issues too and having been diagnosed with PTSD but she always reverted back to the IBS and incontinence issues. So now we wait for the brown envelopes to arrive!!..

When I went to my pip assessment j also have phisical problems and dyslexia but she only seemed interested in IBS & Incontinance issues

Yes, it is frustrating when they seem to be focusing in on the one health issue, I was trying to explain to the ESA assessor about my other health issues but she just nodded her head and brought the subject of IBS and the incontinence issues back up. I am already getting ready to go for the MR and then to appeal so as not to raise my hopes up.
