General condition enqurie esa / pip was created by Bazzel
Hi guys just a quick enqurie been back and forth from doctors with this new on going condition for the last 3 months anyway and pyshio starts 10th Feb

Doctors think it could be fibromyalgia or something a long them lines I got wait until 16th February to see what the out come is

If it turns out to be fibromyalgia or something which hopefully it's nothing!!

how would I go about updating esa and pip do I wait until I have been diagnosed ? And do I ring them up or write to them ?

Sorry again if this has already been answered

Blessed be bazzel

I'm afraid there is no simple answer to this.

Is the change likely to be sustained?

Is it sufficient to effect your award?

If the answer is yes then you certainly need to consider whether to contact the DWP about it. I am assuming it is a deterioration, so they will be a lot less bothered about this than if your conditions have improved.

Is it possible that the new symptoms are from your existing conditions? If you are unsure then it might make sense to wait until the situation is clearer.

If you do decide to contact them then you need to write to both the ESA and PIP units about the change, doing so is likely to result in a re-assessment of both claims.
