How long to wait was created by Mrs. Medlam
Hi all, I had a f2f 3 weeks ago today hadn't heard anything until today when I had a letter saying that they had received all the information and reports they need about your condition and your claim for PIP , we sorry it's taken longer than expected to give a decision on your claim but we'll contact you as soon as we've made a decision.
Is this normal to send this letter out, is it automatically generated and how much longer have people waited for the decision. When I sent my evidence in I didn't have a report from my dr because I thought they would contact him, is it possible that they have asked my dr for a report after my f2f.

It's a standard letter, the most likely explanation is that the DWP are pushing too many DLA claimants through the system and it has become overloaded causing delays, at least in your area.
It's not impossible that they have contacted your GP but I think it very unlikely that they would do so at this stage of the process.

mrs Medlam, just to say that is the exact standard letter I also received sent almost 2 weeks ago and i still havent heard. Im guessing they are pretty snowed under by the speed at which have been sending out the PIP changeover letters.
